As a Movement Specialist, I have always been fascinated by how the body works and the way it moves through space. The body is the ultimate vehicle for expression and I love working with people so they learn how to use their bodies to their fullest. My sessions are geared for the demands and stresses of modern life, designed specifically for busy professionals, athletes and creatives.
I bring together a wealth of knowledge from two decades of concert dance experience, including work with Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Alabama Ballet, and the New York-based Urban Bush Women. I have a BFA in Dance and Exercise Science. I am certified in Pilates from the Kane School of Core Integration, I’m a level 2 gyrotonic trainer and a Level 3 Franklin Method educator.
It’s the blending of all these experiences into a movement session that makes things unique and fun! Being healthy is a way of life. How you feel and move everyday matters to me. Together, we can develop and maintain a balanced, optimized, vibrant, and expressive you!
I’ve completed many continuing education courses covering subjects like osteoporosis and became a Buff Bones certified instructor, scoliosis, foot and ankle function, and ACL and meniscus rehabilitation just to name a few.
I’ve also completed Functional Anatomy for movement and Injuries at Mt Sinai, which provided hands-on learning to knowing and experiencing the body.
